Scripture: Acts 2:1-4, 37-47
Main Ideas:
Many times in His ministry, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit. After His Ascension into heaven, on the day of Pentecost, He poured out the Holy Spirit upon His apostles.
Pentecost began the new age of the Church, and the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and proclaimed the love of Jesus.
We are a part of this new age of the Church through our baptism and confirmation, and we also experience an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that empowers us to bring about new life.

Pray
5 Minutes daily
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the Earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
