Main Ideas:
Through Gospel witnesses, we learn that Jesus was more than just a nice guy or good teacher; He is the son of God. If Jesus is God, we should care about what He said and did.
Jesus continues to impact the world, not because He is simply another important historical figure but because He is God and His whole life reveals who God is.
Jesus promises remarkable things to those who choose to follow Him. and He shows us what it means to live a full and holy life.

What is Catholic Social Teaching?
Catholic social teaching is a central and essential element of our faith. Its roots are in the Hebrew prophets who announced God's special love for the poor and called God's people to a covenant of love and justice. It is a teaching founded on the life and words of Jesus Christ, who came "to bring glad tidings to the poor . . . liberty to captives . . . recovery of sight to the blind"(Lk 4:18-19), and who identified himself with "the least of these," the hungry and the stranger (cf. Mt 25:45). Catholic social teaching is built on a commitment to the poor. This commitment arises from our experiences of Christ in the eucharist.
Each week, the playlist is going to contain something pertaining to Catholic Social Teaching and one of the seven themes. We are starting with Life & Dignity of the Human Person. Watch the video below for an introduction.
